We are currently seeking a Leasing Consultant!

Leasing Consultants act as the community's sales representative by greeting clients, presenting the features and benefits of their community, and properly securing lease agreements from qualified persons.

Responsibilities Include:

  1. Collect a deposit and process future residents’ applications.
  2. Ensure the model/target apartments are ready for show and maintain a clean workspace.
  3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of lease terms, unit specifications, availability, current market conditions, and all community policies. Ensure understanding of application information, screening process, policies, and procedures.
  4. Utilize proper customer service and sales techniques.
  5. Maintain contact with all apartment locator services and local businesses to provide informational material.
  6. Conduct outreach marketing and “shop” surrounding or competing properties.
  7. Develop and maintain ongoing resident retention programs.
  8. Create new move-in resident files and assist with ongoing file maintenance.
  9. Report unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or residents.
  10. Handle resident requests and complaints courteously and efficiently.
  11. Maintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times.

Requirements:

  1. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  2. The ability to remain professional and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Organized with attention to detail.
  4. Customer service experience preferred in a leasing role.

This position is based out of Sun Wood Apartments, Peoria, AZ, with floating to multiple properties as needed. Training and coverage will be at Sun Wood for 8-12 weeks.

Compensation: Full-Time $18 to $19 per hour DOE
