Job summary

Greystar in Houston seeks a Property Manager to lead day-to-day operations of a multi-family property, supervising a team and managing budgets to meet financial and occupancy goals.

You will set rents, process invoices, enforce leases, and coordinate maintenance and vendor relations while ensuring compliance with laws and company policies. A strong focus on resident satisfaction and staff development is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate, or related field.
• 4-6 years minimum of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing, and customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and customer service skills.
• Detail-oriented and self-motivated with the ability to work independently, as a leader, and as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets for the property by analyzing financial statements and market information.
• Set rent rates and ensure timely collection and posting of rent and fees.
• Approve invoices and manage vendor/contractor communications and insurance validation.
• Control expenditures and manage the property budget and petty cash.
• Oversee lease enforcement, applications, renewals, inspections, and notices.
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy goals.
• Promote resident satisfaction by addressing complaints and service requests promptly.
• Supervise staff, hire, train, and evaluate performance in line with company policies.
