Banner Property Management, LLC is hiring an Assistant Property Manager for the brand-new Faywell Apartments in Wheaton, IL. This lease-up role blends leasing, administrative tasks, and property operations to support rent collection, resident relations, and day-to-day community activities.

The position requires 2+ years in property management or related customer-service fields, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years of residential property management experience or related in customer service, hospitality, or sales.
• Physical requirements: frequent walking, stairs, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, reaching; ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle.
• CAM or CPM designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly rent collection, posting, and resident notifications.
• Assist with delinquency management, move-out charges, deposit accounting, and reporting.
• Conduct apartment tours and support leasing activities, including lead follow-up and application processing.
• Help coordinate renewals and maintain organized resident files.
• Enter, monitor, and follow up on service requests to ensure a positive resident experience.
• Contribute to marketing efforts, outreach, and online advertising.
• Maintain renters insurance compliance and support community programs and activities.
• Communicate professionally with residents, prospects, and team members.
• Exercise sound judgment and act in the best interest of the community, residents, and company.
