Banner Property Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join The Faywell community in Wheaton, IL. This full-time role handles appliance, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs, performs turns, and conducts routine preventative maintenance to keep the property well-kept.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of maintenance experience, and the ability to read blueprints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of residential property maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and manuals.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform related tasks.
• HVAC certification, CPO license, or CAMT designation is a plus.
• Basic computer skills for logging and tracking work orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform general appliance, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
• Complete apartment turns and make-readies.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Respond to service requests using our paperless system.
• Maintain maintenance records and manage inventory.
• Perform general carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Ensure safety standards compliance and collaborate with vendors.
• Handle grounds care and assist with snow removal when needed.

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

THE FAYWELL - MAINTENANCE TECH Full Time Full-Time The Faywell, Wheaton, IL, US

Salary Range: $22.50 To $26.00 Hourly

Location: The Faywell, Wheaton, IL

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday; Weekend availability and on-call rotation required.

Hourly Rate: $22.50- $26.00, based on experience; $150 weekly on-call bonus

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 1 – 3 years of residential property maintenance or related field
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to read blueprints and manuals
• Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs., frequent walking, standing, climbing, crouching, kneeling, and reaching
• HVAC certification, CPO license, and/or CAMT designation a plus
• Basic computer skills for logging and tracking work orders

In this role, you will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the property is beautiful, well-maintained, and operating smoothly.
