Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation seeks an entry-level Lease Operator to monitor wells and sites across the Appalachian Basin. Under supervision, you will assist in daily production, equipment checks, and data reporting while maintaining strict safety standards and compliance with PPE requirements.

You will participate in on-call rotations, conduct routine inspections, and coordinate with foremen to resolve issues, ensuring safe and efficient operations in a hands-on field environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
• Valid driver license.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule.
• Monitor production equipment including compressors, pumpjacks, and meters; perform light maintenance as necessary.
• Inspect lease sites to ensure they are clean and free of debris.
• Manage daily fluid production; gauge and record oil and water levels.
• Gather daily, monthly and quarterly data and submit required reports and tickets on time.
• Recognize production issues and troubleshoot with foreman and others.
• Communicate daily plans with production foreman; participate in well reviews and safety meetings.
• Work to optimize productions safely and cost-effectively.
• Participate in on-call rotation including some nights and weekends.
• Check for spills, leaks, and trip hazards; ensure vehicle maintenance.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
