Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation seeks a Lease Operator in training to monitor wells and sites and perform routine maintenance within the Appalachian Basin. You will work under supervision, ensuring safe, efficient operation and reporting any issues promptly.

The role emphasizes safety, on-call duties, and collaboration with foremen and field crews to optimize production and respond to emergencies as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
• Valid driver license.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the incident.
• Ability to wear and properly utilize appropriate PPE where required.

Responsibilities

• Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule.
• Monitor production equipment such as compressors, pumpjacks, dehydrators, meters, and safety devices and perform light maintenance.
• Inspect lease sites to ensure cleanliness and absence of debris or overgrowth.
• Manage daily fluid production and record oil and water tank levels.
• Gather daily, monthly and quarterly data and submit reports in a timely manner.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies and communicate with foreman on daily plans and issues.
