Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation is seeking an entry-level Lease Operator in training. You will monitor wells and sites on an assigned route, perform routine checks on equipment, and ensure safe, efficient production with adherence to safety procedures.

• Knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations.
• Valid driver license.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to remain calm during emergencies and respond appropriately as dictated by the circumstance.
• Ability to wear and properly utilize PPE when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and report operation of wells and sites on an assigned route.
• Make routine checks on all well sites according to schedule.
• Monitor production equipment and perform light maintenance to ensure safe operation.
• Inspect lease sites for cleanliness and debris removal.
• Manage daily fluid production; gauge and record oil and water levels.
• Gather daily, monthly and quarterly data and submit reports on time.
• Troubleshoot production issues with foreman and relevant personnel.
• Communicate daily plans and issues with production foreman; participate in well reviews.
• Work to optimize production in a safe, cost-effective manner.
• Participate in on-call rotation including some nights and weekends.
• Check for spills and leaks and address them promptly.
• Maintain company-provided vehicle in good condition.
• Respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary.
