Job summary

The Music Center in Los Angeles is seeking a Lease Events Manager to book and manage lease events across its four theatres and outdoor spaces. You will handle short-term license agreements, coordinate with clients and internal teams, and oversee box office services and revenue monitoring.

This role requires strong communication, project management, and negotiation skills, plus experience with venue operations and ticketing systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of theatre booking or venue/event management experience; BA or higher.
• 3–5 years with contract drafting and financial settlements for events; knowledge of collective bargaining agreements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Drafts and issues short-term license agreements.
• Reviews and prepares contracts, financial estimates, and technical specs; handles client approvals and deposits.
• Organizes and authorizes box office services; manages ticketing requests and monitors revenue for lease events.
• Prepares final financial settlements; ensures compliance with Music Center policies and lease terms.
• Oversee marketing packages for summer lease events and approves lease marketing materials.
• Performs special projects and other duties as assigned.
