Job summary

Dime Community Bank is hiring a Lease & Escrow Deposit Specialist (Banking) for its Dime Escrow Express at the Hauppauge HQ. The role supports Escrow Deposit clients and Bank/Private Banking teams, onboarding new relationships, and ensuring adherence to policies and regulations.

Qualifications include a college degree or equivalent, at least 2 years of banking experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and banking platforms. This is a full-time, on-site position.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ banking experience.
• Experience with banking regulations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working at a fast pace.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking third-party platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating new Escrow Account set-ups for Landlord/Tenant, 1031 Exchange, Attorney Escrow, Real Estate Management.
• Assist with Daily Transaction Processing.
• Provide escrow support to bankers and clients directly.
• Perform manual interest calculations.
• Demonstrate Escrow Services applications to bankers and clients.
• Process Branch and Private Banking Service Desk Requests.
• Monitor ticketing system and assist with product knowledge.
• Write and modify procedures to improve efficiency.
• Resolve operational problems and suggest training needs.
