Job summary

RHF (Retirement Housing Foundation) is seeking an Occupancy Clerk for Angelus Plaza in Los Angeles to support leasing administration, compliance, and occupancy processes. You will maintain resident files, process certifications, monitor vacancies, and assist with audits.

The role requires attention to detail, organization, and experience with HUD/LIHTC programs. This is an office-based position within a senior housing community with standard business hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–3 years in affordable housing, property management, or administrative support preferred.
• Experience with HUD, Section 8, LIHTC, or subsidized housing programs strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process moves, transfers, and move-outs.
• Prepare lease agreements and required addenda.
• Maintain accurate HUD/Fair Housing waiting lists.
• Coordinate unit assignments based on eligibility and availability.
• Support inspections and move-in/move-out documentation.
• Enter data into property management software and generate reports.
• Assist with rent collection tracking and delinquency documentation.
