World Market is seeking a Lease Auditor for our Alameda, CA office to audit leases across our real estate portfolio, verify CAM/Operating Expenses, and ensure compliance with lease documents and company policies.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years in retail Lease Administration, with strong GAAP knowledge and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in real estate, accounting or business administration.
• 5+ years of experience in retail lease administration.
• Knowledge of accounting, GAAP and FASB treatment of real estate expenses.
• Experience in a fast-paced, multi-project environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Audit leases and CAM/Operating Expenses for World Market properties.
• Ensure compliance with Lease Documents and company policies.
• Identify overbilled or underpaid amounts and initiate collections of overpayments.
• Input reconciliation data into software systems and track payments.
• Coordinate with Lease Administrator on renewals and related tasks.
• Assist with ad hoc projects as needed.
