Job summary

Build-A-Bear Workshop is seeking a Lease Accounting support role to assist with accounting activities related to leases, ensuring timely lease payments and supporting compliance. The position is based in St.

Louis, MO with a hybrid work schedule and regular interaction with landlords and vendors. Responsibilities include monitoring the Lease Accounting inbox, processing invoices, reconciling statements, and recording rent entries in the general ledger.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year corporate accounting experience.
• Associates degree in accounting or equivalent experience.
• Basic Microsoft Excel.
• 3 years corporate accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• D365.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and process emails to the Lease Accounting inbox.
• Process invoices and notifications received by mail.
• Respond to landlord requests for sales information.
• Reconcile monthly leasing statements.
• Complete vendor set up for landlords.
• Record monthly base and percentage rent through journal entries into the general ledger.
• Update leases.
• Import banking data in the ERP system, assist with coding deposits, and scan and code checks received.
