Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District is seeking an Instructional Assistant to support teachers and students in the classroom and related areas. You will adapt activities, administer and score assignments, monitor student progress, and help maintain a safe, organized learning environment.

The role includes preparing materials, coordinating with staff, and participating in meetings. Experience in instructional support and a background in education are preferred; this is a school-year

Qualifications

• Experience in related instructional support preferred.
• Education in a job-related area.
• Pre-employment proficiency test may be required.
• Meet employment requirements as applicable with state, federal, local laws and Board Policy.

Responsibilities

• Assist certificated teachers in instruction and supervision.
• Prepare instructional materials and equipment for activities.
• Monitor students to maintain safe and positive learning environment.
• Attend meetings and in-service presentations as required.
