Job summary

Livermore Valley Joint Unified School District is seeking an Expanded Learning Assistant to develop, implement, and facilitate engaging lessons aligned with ELO-P and district goals, and to support the academic and social-emotional development of students. The role requires supervising students, preparing materials, and assisting with daily operations, including attendance and snack service.

A high school diploma with ECE units plus CPR/First Aid and Food Managers Certification are required

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience in a licensed or exempt preschool facility or school-age program.
• High school diploma or equivalent with twelve (12) ECE core units from an accredited college.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and facilitate engaging lesson plans aligned with ELO-P and district goals.
• Supervise students during all program activities and maintain a safe learning environment.
• Prepare newsletters, lesson plans, snack menus, and summer calendars for documentation.
• Check-in/out students and maintain attendance records; stock materials and manage classroom supplies.
• Assist site lead in assigned activities and support staff and parents as needed.
