Job summary

El Rio Grande Latin Market is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to partner with HR to design and execute a comprehensive learning strategy across retail stores, distribution centers, and corporate teams. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5–7 years of progressive experience in learning and development or organizational development.
• Experience designing and facilitating leadership development programs.
• Experience with LMS, HRIS, and adult learning principles.
• Multi-location retail, grocery, hospitality, or distribution background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with HR to develop and execute the learning strategy.
• Assess learning needs with leadership to identify gaps.
• Design and implement training initiatives for growth and operational excellence.
• Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Develop and maintain training manuals, SOPs, and materials.
• Oversee onboarding and orientation programs.
• Deliver instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced learning solutions.
• Manage LMS and track training completion and effectiveness.
• Support succession planning and leadership development.
• Create development plans and coaching resources.
