Job summary

The Meliora School seeks a Project-Based Learning Specialist to lead the Learning Lab, focusing on entrepreneurship, computer science, and self-directed learning. You will design and teach experiences where middle schoolers identify problems, explore ideas, and build digital products that address real community needs.

You will own Learning Lab planning, instruction, assessment, and exhibitions, helping learners set goals, manage projects, seek feedback, and demonstrate growth across grades 6–8.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience teaching computer science and entrepreneurship concepts.
• Ability to design and facilitate project-based learning with clear outcomes.
• Experience with assessments, portfolios, and exhibitions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Learning Lab course planning and instruction.
• Design sequences from guided challenges to self-directed projects.
• Coordinate exhibitions and community partnerships.
• Assess student work and provide feedback.
• Collaborate with Learning Guides across disciplines.
• Support multilingual learners and inclusive instruction.
