Job summary

Greenhill School's Design + Innovation program seeks a dynamic educator to join our team. This full-time, 10-month role emphasizes hands-on projects in electrical and mechanical engineering, guiding students through prototyping, circuitry, sensors, and microcontroller programming.

You will teach 4 classes (or 5 courses) and mentor capstone work, collaborating with colleagues to connect engineering with entrepreneurship and CS, while advancing DEI initiatives within the lab's mission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or STEM.
• Hands-on experience in STEM education.
• Strong knowledge of DC circuits and microcontroller programming.
• Experience with rapid prototyping tools and machine shop basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and teach project-based experiences in electrical and mechanical engineering.
• Guide students through designing, prototyping, and troubleshooting DC circuits with Arduino.
• Mentor students on programming microcontrollers for automation and control.
• Assist with schematics and PCB design where possible.
• Integrate design thinking into the curriculum and mentor capstone projects.
• Collaborate on interdisciplinary projects and pursue professional development.
