Job summary

Byline Bank in Chicago is seeking an experienced Learning Experience and Instructional Design Lead to design practical development experiences that help employees grow. You’ll partner with leaders, HR colleagues, and subject matter experts to understand business needs, identify capability gaps, and create scalable solutions across instructor-led, virtual, digital, and blended formats.

You’ll lead manager and leadership development programs that strengthen coaching, communication, performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, corporate training, education, or a related field.
• Experience designing learning across multiple formats is important.
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools, LMS platforms, SCORM-based content, and multimedia development.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand learning needs, prioritize projects, and recommend practical solutions.
• Design high-impact learning experiences, materials, and performance support tools.
• Manage learning projects from planning through implementation and evaluation.
• Deliver manager and leadership development programs that equip leaders with practical tools to elevate team effectiveness and personal growth.
• Help employees and leaders understand the capabilities needed for growth across roles and career levels.
• Use feedback, data, and business insights to improve future learning experiences and demonstrate impact.
