Byline Bank in Chicago, IL seeks a Learning Experience and Instructional Design Lead for a hybrid role. You will design practical, engaging development experiences and partner with leaders, HR, and SMEs to address capability gaps and align with organizational priorities.

This role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 7+ years in instructional design or related fields, and experience across instructor-led, virtual, digital, and blended formats. Remote-ready with occasional office visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• 7+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, corporate training, education, or related field.
• Experience designing learning across multiple formats (instructor-led, virtual, digital, blended).
• Experience with e-learning authoring tools, LMS platforms, SCORM-based content, and multimedia development is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand learning needs, prioritize projects, and recommend practical solutions.
• Design/high-impact learning experiences, materials, and performance support tools.
• Manage learning projects from planning through implementation and evaluation.
• Deliver manager and leadership development programs with practical tools.
• Help employees and leaders understand growth capabilities across roles and levels.
• Use feedback, data, and business insights to improve future learning experiences and demonstrate impact.
