Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced instructional designer to lead the design, development, and delivery of diverse learning experiences within the maintenance portfolio.

You will apply modern instructional design theory and technology to enhance knowledge transfer and business impact. The role requires collaboration with SMEs, strong project management, and the ability to create innovative content across formats while staying current with learning science and technology

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Instructional Technology, or Education required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• ATD Master Instructional Designer certification preferred.
• Knowledge of Learning Technology Administration.
• Strong project management skills.
• 5+ years in learning/adult education.
• 3+ years in instructional design with emerging learning tech.
• Knowledge of ISD.

Responsibilities

• Manage timelines and deliverables across multiple projects and teams to ensure on time delivery and high-quality transfer of learning.
• Apply learner-centered design to needs analyses, learning outcomes, and design plans.
• Create compelling learning experiences that align with current learning science and technology.
• Develop content in multiple formats (print, graphics, multimedia, SCORM, audio, video).
• Handle other projects as assigned by manager.
