Job summary
Legends Global seeks an AV Specialist to support the View Boston Observatory with on-site AV/IT setup and maintenance. You will assist with furniture and equipment distribution for events and provide Level 1-2 support for AV systems and IT concerns.
Ideal candidates have 1–3+ years in IT/AV support, strong networking knowledge, and experience with Crestron/Extron/Q-SYS. This on-site role requires flexibility for evenings and weekends and a focus on high-quality event execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field (equivalent experience considered).
- 1–3+ years of IT/AV support or related technical experience.
- Flexible availability includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency with Windows and macOS, Office suites, and basic server/network concepts.
Responsibilities
- Provide setup and support of multiple point-of-sale systems for View Boston Observatory facility.
- Provide desktop support to internal staff and work with vendors to resolve issues.
- Perform level 1 & 2 AV/IT support and escalate when needed.
- Assist with AV and event support for View Boston Observatory and conduct pre-event walk-throughs.
