Job summary

Southcentral Foundation (SCF) seeks a Learning and Development Training Specialist I or II at the Development Center to lead needs assessment, research and development, implementation, maintenance and evaluation of training initiatives that boost workforce performance and readiness.

The position offers two levels with progression based on demonstrated capability; native preference applies, and health screenings/certifications may be required, focusing on serving Alaska Native communities.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in training, education, Human Resources, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Two years of experience in the field of training and development, education, or Human Resources.
• One ATD Master Certificate, or ability to obtain within one year.

Responsibilities

• Lead needs assessment and identification for learning needs.
• Research and develop training solutions; implement, maintain, coordinate and evaluate programs.
• Improve and evaluate comprehensive learning initiatives to boost workforce performance and readiness.
• Progression between levels is based on demonstrated ability to handle more responsibility.

Education

Master’s degree in training, education, Human Resources, or related field
