Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist in Fairfax, VA to design and deliver training, manage the LMS, and assess training impact. The role combines hands-on content creation with program evaluation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.

You will work with the L&D team and stakeholders to advance learning initiatives, support career development, and drive performance improvements within a mission-driven nonprofit.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and 8 years of learning and development experience.
• Experience with LMS platforms and instructional design.
• Strong MS Office and Outlook skills are expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of customized training materials, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training and materials, and job aids.
• Deliver engaging and effective training to employees, both in-person and virtually.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technology in L&D.
• Collaborate with the L&D team and other stakeholders to align programs with goals.
