Job summary

IBC Bank seeks a Learning & Development Specialist I to drive knowledge and skill development aligning with bank objectives. You will design and deliver trainings, promote the bank’s culture, and tailor content to diverse learner needs.

You will assess progress, coach on gaps, track outcomes in the LMS, and collaborate with corporate trainers and leadership to optimize trainee development. This in-office role emphasizes clear communication and a commitment to excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in communication or related field.
• 1 year or more management experience.
• Training experience is desired.
• Specialized certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance or SHRM-CP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver interactive trainings aligned with learning objectives.
• Promote IBC’s philosophies and culture to new hires.
• Assess trainee progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
• Evaluate trainee understanding and learning progress.
• Coach employees on learning gaps and policy adherence.
• Deliver trainings via multiple delivery methods.
• Provide management with feedback on performance and compliance.
• Maintain comprehensive evaluations of trainee performance.
• Coordinate with trainers, managers, and leadership on development needs.
• Maintain up-to-date trainee records and LMS progress.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Job Duties

• Conduct interactive and engaging training in accordance to learning objectives
• Promote and demonstrate IBC’s philosophies and culture to all new hires.
• Evaluate trainee’s competency levels and improvise teaching style to meet learner’s style of learning
• Examine and asses the trainees’ understanding and progress of learning
• Coach employees effectively on learning gaps or policy violations.
• Ability to conduct training through different delivery methods.
• Provide management with feedback on employee performance and policy adherence.
• Provide comprehensive evaluations on trainee performance.
• Consult with other trainers, managers, and market leadership on trainee development.
• Conducts all types of trainings as requested by Corporate Training
• Maintaining an up-to-date and accurate record of trainee progress and achievements
• Ensure training equipment and software in training areas are current and operating correctly.
• Ensuring accurate tracking in the LMS of completed courses.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in communication or related field.
• 1 year or more management experience.
• Training experience is desired.
• Specialized certifications such as Certified Professional in Learning and Performance, Certified Training and Development, or Society for Human Resource Management Certified Professional is preferred.
