Job summary

Camden National Bank in Maine seeks an Education & Development Specialist to design, coordinate, and deliver learning content from new hire orientation to ongoing development programs. You will create content (documents, videos), organize programs, and manage LMS activities in Workday as part of a high-performing team.

In a fast-paced environment, you will collaborate across lines to assess learning needs, administrate content, and report outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated adult education instruction experience, with 3–5 years background in design, coaching, teaching, and facilitation skills.
• Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) or other systems administration.
• Demonstrated ability to create eLearning content.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) and working knowledge of video creation/editing software.
• Possess working knowledge of adult learning principles.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and partner across business lines to assess and identify professional developmental needs and recommend, design, and implement effective learning solutions and content.
• Administer and coordinate activities related to the planning, development, and delivery of educational programs, including LMS content, required compliance learning, new employee orientation/onboarding, technical training video creation, and various communications.
• Influence development of talent across the company for a broader impact on the organization's vision and goals. Promote an inclusive workplace that fosters the development of others, facilitates cooperation and teamwork, and supports engagement initiatives.
• By way of benchmarks and metrics designed to improve effectiveness, proactively analyze education programs supporting strategic business goals and required learning. Report findings quarterly and annually.
• Deliver learning content through a variety of platforms, including but not limited to in-person, virtual, and eLearning/videos/job aides.
• Maintain Learning Management System (Workday) platform and related content. Includes reporting, uploading of new content, answering stakeholder questions, bi-annual testing and ad hoc requests.
