Job summary

BMSS Advisors & CPAs is seeking a collaborative Learning & Development Specialist to support internal training programs and firmwide initiatives at our Birmingham, AL offices. You will coordinate events, manage LMS logistics, and partner with SMEs to craft learning objectives and session content.

The role emphasizes creating polished eLearning materials, translating complex topics, and ensuring brand-aligned delivery across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications, English, Education, or Instructional Design preferred.
• 1-3 years of learning & development, instructional design, communications, or admin coordination.
• Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal training programs and firmwide learning events.
• Manage logistics: Zoom/Teams/LMS setup, room scheduling, communications, attendance tracking, materials.
• Develop learning objectives, handouts, and session content with presenters.
