Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and organized Learning & Development Specialist to support employee training, professional development, and learning initiatives across the organization. This position will assist with coordinating training programs, maintaining learning materials, tracking participation, and helping employees access relevant development resources.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with an interest in employee development and workplace learning. This role is well suited for someone with experience in training coordination, human resources, administration, education, or program support who is looking to build a career in Learning & Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate employee training sessions, workshops, and development programs.
- Assist with scheduling training activities and communicating program details.
- Prepare and organize training materials, presentations, and resources.
- Maintain accurate training records and employee learning histories.
- Track training participation, completion, and required certifications.
- Support onboarding and new employee learning programs.
- Assist employees with access to learning platforms and training resources.
- Coordinate with internal teams, managers, and training providers.
- Help develop and update training documentation and learning materials.
- Collect participant feedback and assist with evaluating training effectiveness.
- Prepare basic reports and summaries related to learning activities.
- Maintain organized digital records of training programs and materials.
- Assist with virtual and in-person training logistics.
- Research learning resources, tools, and professional development opportunities.
- Help ensure training programs align with company policies and procedures.
- Provide general administrative support for the Learning & Development team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience in training, HR, administration, education, or program coordination is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Comfortable coordinating multiple tasks, schedules, and deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Ability to learn and use learning-management systems and other digital platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Experience creating presentations, training documents, or instructional materials.
- Basic knowledge of employee development and workplace training practices.
- Experience supporting virtual training or webinars.
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, or similar tools.
- Strong interest in employee learning, professional development, and organizational growth.

Estimated Salary
$55,000 – $78,000 per year
- Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, qualifications, location, and the employer's compensation structure.
