Job summary

The Bernard Group Inc, a 1,000-person visual merchandising company and 100% employee-owned, seeks a Learning & Development Program Manager in Chanhassen, MN. Lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of technical, leadership and soft-skill training across the organization.

You will partner with leaders, coach internal trainers, manage LMS usage (360Learning preferred) and develop a centralized training content library to support employees at all levels, including production shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field; advanced learning techniques training is a plus.
• Eight or more years designing, developing and delivering training for adult learners.
• Five+ years of experience managing others and their development.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching and PM skills.
• Experience with LMS management; 360Learning preferred.
• Adobe Suite and web-based authoring tools (Captivate/Articulate/Canva) proficient.
• Hands-on use of generative AI tools for instructional design and assessment.
• Portfolio or examples of training development work.

Responsibilities

• Partner with leadership to identify training needs and define learning objectives.
• Design, deliver and evaluate eLearning, videos, classroom sessions and blended programs.
• Develop, schedule, deliver and track training for staff and managers.
• Coach internal trainers and leaders; mentor network of trainers.
• Select training methods to reinforce skills and enable distance learning.
• Build a central repository of training content and resources.
• Research new techniques and improve program content and delivery.
• Manage external training vendor relationships as needed.
