Job summary

We Do Life…Together (WDLT), a division of ICES, Inc., is seeking a Learning and Development Specialist to design, implement, and manage employee education programs at our Naugatuck location. You will translate complex regulations into practical training and drive onboarding, compliance, and leadership development.

You will leverage ADDIE to develop engaging learning experiences, measure outcomes, and continuously improve curricula across a regulated human services environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field.
• Three or more years of experience designing and delivering employee learning programs.
• Experience in healthcare, human services, or regulated environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design learning programs using ADDIE and align with regulatory requirements.
• Lead onboarding, compliance training, leadership development, and continuing education initiatives.
• Develop instructor-led, virtual, self-paced, and blended learning experiences.
• Facilitate training sessions for the agency, including bi-weekly new hire trainings.
• Build learning pathways for career growth and internal advancement.
• Measure training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with leaders to align initiatives with organizational priorities.
• Manage multiple learning projects with timelines and quality.
