Job summary

Shepherd Outsourcing LLC in Greenville, SC is seeking a Learning & Development Manager to lead training programs for agents and supervisors, organize daily classroom activities, and develop strategic training initiatives aligned with client objectives.

You will coach performance, monitor progress through the first 90 days, ensure regulatory compliance in training, and partner with operations to drive employee development and retention.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of collections industry experience.
• Management or supervisory experience.
• Training, coaching, or instructional experience.
• Experience creating training materials, processes, or curriculum is a plus.
• Experience with a Learning Management System is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate training for new hires, agents, and supervisors.
• Organize and manage daily classroom activities and training schedules.
• Develop and implement training strategies that support company and client objectives.
• Monitor individual and class performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Coach, motivate, and develop trainees throughout the training process.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development feedback.
• Create and improve training materials, content, and processes.
• Work with leadership and operations to ensure training objectives are met.
• Ensure client and regulatory compliance requirements are incorporated into training.
• Respond to trainee questions and concerns and work toward timely resolutions.
• Monitor new-hire performance and help manage retention in the first 90 days.
• Prepare reports and provide feedback on training effectiveness.
• Support continuous improvement of training programs and employee development efforts.
