Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred; experience in manufacturing training preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background in HR, Materials, Operations or continuous improvement with training experience.
• Leadership and people management skills.
• Proficiency with computers and standard software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Participate in employee onboarding training including initial weeks and follow-ups.
• Apply Job Instruction and Job Relations training methodologies.
• Design, develop and implement training programs to build organizational capability.
• Lead design and implementation of training across Magna Newaygo operations with emphasis on continuous improvement.
• Develop organizational survey tools to measure climate, culture and team effectiveness.
• Manage training and organizational development staff to provide effective support.
• Establish networks with OD and training experts to introduce new ideas.
