Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Training Generalist to support skill building and career development across divisions. The role delivers stand-up facilitation, workshops, eLearning, coaching, and on-the-job training to enhance workforce performance and compliance.

You will collaborate with the L&OD team to design programs, maintain training records in ELM, and drive continuous improvements. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in learning and development, strong communication skills, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 5+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of learning and development experience, ideally in warehouse environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication for training sessions and leadership communications.
• Proficient with Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiar with a Learning Management System (ELM in McLane).
• Knowledge of warehouse and transportation operations is a plus.
• English literacy for understanding instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide just-in-time training aligned with division goals.
• Identify learning gaps with leadership and L&OD team.
• Conduct performance consulting to address training needs or system issues.
• Deliver training through workshops, eLearning, coaching, and OJT.
• Create training materials and serve as subject-matter expert.
• Manage training in ELM and track completion and audits.
• Support safety and regulatory training requirements.
