Job summary

The Royal College of Art is seeking an experienced Learning Development and Academic Literacies Coordinator to lead the College-wide in-sessional learning development for postgraduate students.

Working within Library and Academic Enhancement, you will plan and deliver a comprehensive programme of support, including workshops, tutorials, embedded teaching, online resources, induction activities and targeted interventions.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience coordinating learning development and academic literacies in higher education.
• Experience teaching postgraduate learners and creating engaging learning resources.
• Postgraduate qualification and recognised teaching qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of in-sessional learning development, including workshops and tutorials.
• Collaborate with programmes and schools to ensure timely, relevant support.
• Provide leadership to teaching staff, including line management of the In-Sessional Associate Lecturer.
• Develop a coherent model integrating academic literacies, information literacy and learning development.
