Job summary

Alpha is hiring for an Elementary Program Lead to coach Guides and students across a NYC or Miami campus. You’ll own outcomes for a cohort of K-3 students, using data, observations, and coaching to ensure each child loves school, learns faster, and develops life skills.

In this role you’ll deliver workshops, conduct one-on-one coaching, and build repeatable playbooks that raise performance across the Guides. This position emphasizes developing people over administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, Organizational Leadership, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience working with elementary-aged children (ages 5-9).
• Experience leading teams of five or more people, including performance management and hiring decisions.
• Experience building or growing a program, school, team, or initiative.
• Demonstrated success using data and measurable outcomes to improve team or student performance.
• Compelling storytelling and facilitation skills with young children, plus ability to coach adults with clear expectations.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Nice to have: Master's degree.
• Nice to have: Experience using dashboards/analytics to drive improvement.
• Nice to have: Coaching adults toward measurable outcomes.
• Nice to have: Background in youth development or enrichment programs.
• Nice to have: Public speaking and facilitation with young children.

Responsibilities

• Coach Guides and students using performance data and feedback to achieve improvements.
• Facilitate workshops for K-3 students focused on communication, resilience, collaboration, accountability, focus, and other life skills.
• Lead one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions that connect student motivation to academic growth and independence.
• Build and refine repeatable coaching playbooks that raise performance across the Guide team.
• Train and mentor Guides while modeling exceptional coaching and facilitation every day.
