Job summary

Roers Companies in Plymouth, MN, seeks a Training & Development Specialist to coordinate, administer, and support learning programs across the organization. You will manage scheduling, communications, materials, tracking, reporting, and LMS administration while assisting with New Hire Orientation and onboarding activities.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in learning and development, strong facilitation skills, and experience with eLearning tools like Articulate 360/Rise.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in learning and development, training, instructional design, program coordination, or related field.
• Experience facilitating in-person and/or virtual training.
• Experience designing and developing training materials or learning content.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer learning and development programs, including scheduling, logistics, communications, materials, attendance, tracking, reporting, and follow-up.
• Facilitate New Hire Orientation components and broader onboarding experiences.
• Facilitate in-person and virtual training programs for team members and leaders.
• Apply instructional design and adult learning principles to create engaging learning experiences.
• Develop learning content in formats like eLearning, presentations, facilitator guides, job aids, videos, and other resources.
• Partner with subject matter experts to translate content into practical learning experiences.
• Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including course setup, learner records, completion tracking, and reporting.
• Provide ongoing coordination and administrative support for leadership development, coaching, assessments, and other initiatives.
• Collect and track participation, completion, and evaluation data for continuous improvement.
• Support additional HR projects and priorities as needed.
