The Specialist will partner with leaders, subject matter experts, and HR colleagues to build employee capabilities, enhance the new hire experience, support regulatory and compliance training, and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.This position is ideal for a professional with 2 to 5 years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Organizational Development, or Human Resources who enjoys creating engaging learning experiences and helping employees achieve their full potential.The Learning & Talent Development Specialist will partner with leadership, subject matter experts, and operational teams to develop staff capabilities, administer the Paycom Learning Management System (LMS), coordinate training activities, and support organizational talent strategies. The role aligns closely with Jawonio's ongoing efforts to enhance onboarding, leadership development, compliance training, and workforce engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesLearning & DevelopmentDesign, develop, coordinate, and facilitate instructor-led, virtual, and blended learning programs.Create engaging learning materials, participant guides, job aids, presentations, and e-learning content.Assist in the ongoing enhancement of New Employee Orientation (NEO) and other organizational training programs.Deliver training sessions related to compliance, professional development, leadership, and organizational initiatives.Evaluate training effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and performance metrics.Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure training content remains current and relevant.Paycom LMS AdministrationServe as a primary administrator and resource for the Paycom Learning platform.Upload, organize, assign, revise, and publish training content within Paycom Learning.Monitor course completion, compliance requirements, and employee learning records.Generate reports and dashboards to track learning outcomes and training compliance.Support managers and employees with Paycom Learning troubleshooting and user assistance.Talent Development & Talent ManagementAssist in developing career development, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.Support employee engagement and retention efforts through development-focused programs.Coordinate leadership seminars, workshops, and growth opportunities across the organization.Help identify competency gaps and recommend development solutions.Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. Talent Acquisition SupportPartner with HR and hiring managers to support recruitment and onboarding activities.Assist with applicant screening, interview coordination, and candidate communications when needed.Support onboarding processes to ensure a positive and engaging new hire experience.Help maintain relationships with educational institutions, workforce development partners, and community organizations.Training Operations & ComplianceCoordinate training schedules, enrollment, attendance tracking, and documentation.Maintain accurate training records and compliance reports.Support accreditation, regulatory, and audit requirements related to training and development.Assist with annual mandatory training programs and organization-wide learning initiatives.QualificationsRequired EducationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.Required Experience2 to 5 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, or related field.Experience facilitating training programs for adult learners.Experience supporting onboarding, employee development, or workforce development initiatives.Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System (LMS).Preferred QualificationsExperience with Paycom Learning strongly preferred.Experience with e-learning development tools such as Articulate Rise, Storyline, Canva, or similar platforms.Experience working in healthcare, nonprofit, human services, education, or developmental disabilities services.Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.Professional certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR, ATD, CPTD, or related credentials are a plus.Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesStrong presentation and facilitation skills.Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.Strong organizational and project management skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical and reporting skills.Ability to build collaborative relationships with staff and leadership.Passion for employee growth, learning, and organizational development.What Jawonio OffersOpportunity to make a meaningful impact in a mission-driven organization.Collaborative and supportive work environment.Professional development and growth opportunities.Competitive salary and benefits package.The chance to help shape the future of learning, leadership, and workforce development across the organization.
