Job description

We are seeking a passionate and strategic Learning and Development Specialist to design, implement, and optimize learning programs that elevate employee engagement, skill-building, and career development. You will collaborate across departments to identify training needs and deliver impactful learning solutions that align with business goals and foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assess organizational learning needs through surveys, interviews, and data analysis.
  2. Design and deliver engaging onboarding, compliance, technical, and leadership training programs.
  3. Collaborate with department leaders to develop role-specific learning paths.
  4. Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions with a focus on adult learning principles.
  5. Evaluate program effectiveness using key metrics (e.g., engagement, retention, performance improvements).
  6. Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) including content creation, reporting, and user support.
  7. Stay updated on L&D trends, technologies, and best practices; recommend innovative learning solutions.
  8. Support initiatives related to diversity, equity, inclusion, and employee experience.
  9. Develop internal resources such as eLearning modules, job aids, and toolkits.
  10. Partner with HR Business Partners and leadership to support performance management and talent development initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, or related field.
  2. 3+ years of experience in L&D or training roles, preferably in a fast-paced tech environment.
  3. Proven experience designing and facilitating learning programs.
  4. Strong knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design, and eLearning development tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate).
  5. Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (e.g., Workday Learning, TalentLMS, SuccessFactors or similar).
  6. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  7. Self-starter with strong project management and organizational skills.
  8. Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Certification in L&D or instructional design (e.g., CPLP, ATD, SHRM).
  2. Experience supporting technical teams or product training.
