We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Learning & Development (L&D) Manager to join our team based in the United States. This person will play a key role in expanding our business by bridging the gap between the needs of CPA firms and the solutions provided by our L&D offerings. The ideal candidate will have experience in L&D within a Big 4 or a major CPA firm, a strong understanding of L&D requirements, and the ability to work closely with the sales team to close deals.
Key Responsibilities:
- L&D Strategy and Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough needs analysis, understand the L&D requirements of CPA firms, especially in the context of CPA, EA, and CMA certification programs. Assess skill gaps and translate them into actionable training plans. Work with the sales team to identify client needs, propose solutions, and support deal closures. Engage with prospective clients to provide insights into training needs and solutions, leveraging knowledge of the US market for tailored proposals.
- Empathy and User-Centric Approach: Actively listen to clients to understand their needs, providing empathetic, client-focused solutions. Serve as the voice of the client to ensure offerings meet and exceed expectations.
- L&D Expertise and Leadership: Use your understanding of L&D processes to advise clients on training solutions. Leverage your experience with Big 4 or large CPA firms to deliver relevant training. Collaborate with product and sales teams in India to ensure effective communication and solution alignment. Act as a liaison between US clients and Indian product teams for smooth communication and delivery.
- Business Expansion: Contribute to business growth by identifying new opportunities and providing insights on L&D trends in the CPA industry. Build long-term relationships, becoming a trusted advisor for L&D needs.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience: 7-10 years in L&D, with a background in Big 4 or major CPA firms. Experience managing L&D programs for CPA, EA, and CMA certifications is a plus.
- Sales Mindset: Proven experience working with sales teams to drive revenue and client acquisition.
- Empathy and Client Focus: Strong understanding of client needs and ability to tailor solutions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills across geographies.
- Cross-Cultural Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with teams in India and the US, ensuring alignment.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to identify new business opportunities and drive growth.
Location: US-based (Remote, with some travel to client locations)
