The Learning and Development Manager will support both Corporate and Retail businesses, driving team development and elevate customer experience through training programs and initiatives. Your primary mission will be to partner with local management support the onboarding, training and coaching of store teams, building expertise and enhancing the overall client experience. This role will report directly to the Vice President of HR.
Responsibilities:
- Implement training strategies that consistently raise the level of performance and engagement of the Retail teams
- Conduct needs analyses to identify performance-based training opportunities
- Strategize and recommend creative learning solutions to help meet store business objectives
- Create engaging workshops, presentations and training collateral that ensure knowledge transfer and provide exceptional employee learning experiences
- Partner with Regional Managers to deploy successful onboarding strategies for new hires
- Facilitate classroom, virtual and in store trainings that focus on product expertise, selling skills and client experience
- Liaise with international colleagues in HQ to execute global learning objectives locally in stores
- Maintain consistent follow up post training, holing teams accountable for achieving training objectives and meeting goals
- Track, report and evaluate training programs for participation and effectiveness; make recommendations for new solutions and to improve existing offerings
- Manage all relevant project administration, including coordinating program and project logistics (ie participant and independent travel, invitations and communication, shipping, printing materials etc.)

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- +5 years of training experience, preferably in a luxury retail environment
- Ability to travel 50% of time, dedicated to coaching and facilitation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Possesses well rounded global perspective with the ability to understand and navigate collaboration with HQ international colleagues/partners
- Curious and a passion to learn and gain subject matter expertise
- Strong ability to build cross functional partnerships and influence across all levels and functions
- Strong instructional design, communication and written skills
- Excellent classroom facilitation, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Self starter with ability to work independently and as an active team player
- Willingness to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with positivity, energy and enthusiasm
- Exceptional project management skills, with ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously
- Technologically adept and proficient in Microsoft 365 programs
