Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Junior Skating Instructor in San Diego to assist Skating Instructors in running the Skating School and to ensure safe, engaging sessions for participants. You will help supervise activities and support youth and adults in learning skating skills.

The role requires training in skating disciplines, knowledge of ISI/USFS programs, and the ability to work in a loud, cold arena environment.

Qualifications

• Must be fully trained in all skating disciplines.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of ISI and USFS programs.
• Must have strong organizational skills and abilities.
• Able to function in an often loud and cold environment.
• Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist Skating Instructors in operating the Skating School.
• Maintain safety and physical readiness for activities.
• Support participants and coordinate group activities.
