Job summary

The Salvation Army Southern California Division invites applications for a Junior Skating Instructor at the Ice Arena. You will assist Skating Instructors in running the Skating School and support program operations.

Responsibilities include handling basic skating instruction, ensuring safety, lifting up to 25 lbs, and maintaining a constructive, well-organized learning environment for participants. English communication and basic computer use are required.

Qualifications

• Must be fully trained in all skating disciplines.
• Must have a thorough knowledge of ISI and USFSA programs.
• Must have strong organizational skills and abilities.
• Able to function in an often loud and cold environment.
• Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist skating instructors in the operation of the Skating School.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to operate computer and access information.
• Maintain a safe, friendly learning environment for skaters.
