Job summary

BW Converting is seeking a Warehouse Operations Lead in Green Bay, WI to manage daily warehousing activities, lead a team of associates, and drive Lean improvements. You will oversee receiving, staging, and distribution of materials for assembly and processing while improving throughput and inventory turns.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree with 3 years of leadership experience (or 5 years in a related warehouse role) and travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of warehouse leadership experience preferred, or 5 years of related warehouse experience.
Leadership experience in manufacturing, warehouse and/or lean deployment with transformational responsibilities.
Proven success designing and improving throughput, cycle time, inventory turns, and supply chain costs.

Responsibilities

Coordinate daily warehouse operations leading a team of associates who receive, identify and manage staging and distribution of raw material and components.
Ensure timely and accurate distribution of parts to support assembly teams.
Lead daily warehouse activities including cycle counts, intercompany/direct shipments, and stocking strategies.
Be primary contact for warehouse operations issues and lead a team of material handlers.
Develop standards and processes based on improvement opportunities and quality/cost concerns.
Support Lean culture and coach associates on Lean principles.
