Job summary

Wabash in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a team in a busy warehouse. You will plan workloads, enforce procedures, and drive improvements in material handling, equipment usage, and work conditions.

The role requires strong shipping/receiving experience, ERP knowledge, and a track record of leading teams to meet targets while balancing safety, quality, and productivity. On-site role with opportunities for process optimization.

Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum three (3) years of shipping/receiving/stores experience.
• Knowledge of shipping/receiving practices, policies, and techniques.
• Knowledge of ERP operating systems is required.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Kanban, Poke Yoke, cellular manufacturing and 5S.
• ISO experience is a plus.
• Lean Manufacturing and Material Flow experience is a plus.
• Leadership: ability to lead people and achieve results through others.

Responsibilities

• Supervise employees in a warehouse environment and plan/work assignments.
• Enforce policies and procedures and suggest improvements to processes and equipment.
• Lead Continuous Improvement initiatives for warehouse processes at the plant.
• Create metrics to measure productivity and reduce waste.
• Provide training and mentoring on material management methods.
• Track department performance and report progress to management.
• Investigate incidents, generate problem-solving reports, manage inventory levels, and ensure Kronos accuracy.
