Job summary

Tenneco in Frankfort, Indiana is seeking a Value Stream Manager to lead a defined section of the plant, drive safety, productivity, and quality, and partner with senior management to meet performance goals.

You will oversee production supervisors, engineers and quality staff, own the value stream P&L, implement lean improvements, ensure compliance with labor agreements, and represent the company across internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7–10 years manufacturing experience.
• Experience in at least three areas: hourly or salaried supervision, quality management, manufacturing engineering, maintenance, human resources management, financial management, labor negotiations, or operations management.

Responsibilities

• Promotes a safe working environment and compliance.
• Manages production supervisors and engineers to achieve plant objectives.
• Owns Value Stream P&L and product-line margins.
• Leads process owner for the Quality Management System.
• Communicates across the value stream with hourly and salaried staff, suppliers and customers.
