Job summary

Tenneco, Inc. is seeking a Value Stream Manager for the Frankfort, Indiana plant. You will lead a crucial value stream, driving safety, productivity, quality, and financial performance while coordinating with engineers, quality, and line staff.

Responsibilities include managing capacity, implementing lean improvements, and upholding the plant's policies and labor agreements. This role is a key member of the plant's senior management team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of manufacturing experience in multiple areas such as supervision, quality, engineering, maintenance, or operations.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safety and environmental compliance.
• Oversees production supervisors and engineers to meet plant objectives.
• Owns Value Stream P&Ls including cost, margin, PPV, and productivity.
• Adheres to plant guidelines and union labor agreements.
• Leads by example and represents the company in performance matters.
• Acts as process owner for the Manufacturing and Delivery QMS.
• Manages capacity and implements lean improvements.
• Communicates across hourly and salaried workforce, suppliers, and customers.
