Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Grenada, MS, seeks an indirect hourly team member to support the Factory Value Stream, drive safety, quality, and productivity through Lean tools, and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives. You will train operators, lead Kaizen events, update work instructions, and ensure production schedules align with customer demand, using SAP and other scheduling systems.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; AA/AS degree a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Office tools and SAP preferred.
• Understanding Lean Principles and implementation experience.
• Self-starter with good time management and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Educate operators on quality, lean practices, and standard work.
• Lead Kaizen events to drive continuous improvement.
• Address equipment and tooling issues with the appropriate department.
• Update work instructions and standard work procedures for consistency.
• Maintain reporting boards and dashboards; monitor performance.
• Work with department managers to identify training needs and develop solutions.
