Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Grenada is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive process optimization and operational excellence across manufacturing operations.

You will lead Lean initiatives, perform time studies and capacity analyses, mentor frontline staff, and collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance to implement standardized work.

The role requires 5+ years in continuous improvement and experience with ERP/MES, data analytics, and problem-solving tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement or Lean manufacturing within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven expertise in Lean, Kaizen, and process improvement methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and production systems, preferably HVAC/refrigeration.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems, data analytics, and process automation technologies.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills with ability to influence across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, SMED).
• Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and develop data-driven improvement plans.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring issues.
• Manage cross-functional improvement projects to increase throughput and reduce downtime.
• Implement standardized work with production, quality, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Monitor KPIs and report impact of improvement activities.
• Conduct time studies, line balancing, and capacity analysis for optimization.
• Train and mentor frontline employees on Lean principles and tools.
• Support new equipment and processes from a lean perspective.
