Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company in Grenada, MS is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer to drive process optimization and operational excellence. You will partner with production, quality, engineering and maintenance to implement standardized work and data-driven improvements that boost throughput and reduce downtime.

You will lead Lean initiatives, perform time studies, capacity analyses, and coach teams on tools like 5S, Kaizen, VSM, and SMED, while monitoring KPIs to quantify impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field required or equivalent.
• 5+ years of continuous improvement experience in manufacturing environments.
• Proven expertise in Lean, Kaizen, and process improvement methodologies.
• Experience with ERP/MES systems, data analytics, and process automation.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives (5S, Kaizen, VSM, SMED) to improve throughput and reduce downtime.
• Analyze processes to identify inefficiencies and develop data-driven improvement plans.
• Drive RCA and corrective actions for recurring production issues.
• Collaborate with production, quality, engineering and maintenance to implement standardized work.
• Monitor KPIs and quantify impact of continuous improvement activities.
• Provide training and mentorship on Lean principles to frontline staff.
