Job summary

Legrand North & Central America in Anaheim, CA is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to drive Lean transformation and daily management initiatives across the Data Center, Power, and Control Team.

You will partner with operations, quality, engineering, and maintenance to implement process improvements, develop standard work, and coach teams in Lean tools. This role emphasizes safety, quality, value, and growth through systematic problem solving.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting Lean/CI in industrial manufacturing.
• Quality control/assurance background is preferred.
• Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering or related field; Lean Six Sigma certification acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production processes, material flow, labor, and equipment to identify safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity gains.
• Partner with operations, quality, engineering, maintenance, and supply chain to implement process improvements.
• Apply Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving to reduce waste and variability.
• Collect and interpret production data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities.
• Support root cause analysis using 5 Why, fishbone, Pareto, process mapping, and FMEA.
• Develop and maintain standard work, process docs, visual controls, and training materials.
• Lead Lean initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, value stream mapping, line balancing, standard work).
• Track KPIs: productivity, throughput, scrap, cycle time, downtime, first-pass yield, and adherence.
• Coach employees in new processes and Lean tools; ensure sustainment via audits and follow-ups.
• Monitor effectiveness of improvements and ensure ongoing compliance with standards.
