Job summary

Siemens Healthineers in Massachusetts seeks an Operational Excellence Manager to lead a team of Lean/CI specialists and drive enterprise-wide transformation across Formulation areas, applying Lean manufacturing principles, structured problem-solving, and data-driven decision making.

You will partner with site leadership to define a Lean vision and roadmap, coach leaders, execute multi-year plans, and deliver sustained improvements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost through Kaizen events,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years in supply chain, manufacturing, or operational excellence roles.
• Experience in Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and project/program management.
• Strong leadership and change management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to other site locations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop a team of Lean/CI specialists, ensuring capability growth and deployment of methods.
• Lead Operational Excellence initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery, cost, and engagement in Formulation areas.
• Partner with functional leaders to develop and execute the Lean strategic vision and multi-year roadmap.
• Drive site-level transformation projects through coaching and change leadership.
• Lead, plan, and facilitate Lean events and improvement activities (Kaizen, VSM, A3, Gemba walks).
• Identify, prioritize, and manage a portfolio of CI projects aligned with business objectives.
• Apply IE methods such as time studies, flow analysis, and statistical analysis to identify improvements.
• Improve line/process performance using OEE/OLE, process control, and maintenance systems.
